Info: Is this really a surfer with a shark? No. This is a dolphin. Observe the tail fin - sharks (elasmobranchs) have vertical tail fins, whereas dolphins (cetaceans) have a horizontal tail fin.

It's for sure a dolphin. I surf a lot and they love to play in the waves. There are several kinds of dolphin, and some get that big a bigger. I have been in the same position as this guy many times. And seen that same view. It's a dolphin...

it isnt a shark and doesnt look to have a really long spike that ermmmm woteva they called swordfish have lol :S so must be a dolphin but it couldnt be tha either if u look at the tail u cant see it much but looking at it u would say its a dolphin of some sort but then again dolphins fin on the top isnt like that it doesnt look at sharp as wot this is so my conclusion is that its a SHARK AND THAT GUY SHOULD SWIIIIIMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM !!!!!! lol :) BUT i could be wrong :S

Latest comment: "no it looks to thin and sharp(pointed),straight and size dont matter it could be a young shark thats what i think it is, dolphins are more round, mellow, bendable looking, the head & tail in the pic are to stiff & precise, its a shark so turn around and get he hell out!!!!!!!! "

Guest: Rachel (624 days ago)

It's definately not a shark, I think it's a dolphin but I can see why some would argue it's a fish of some sorts

Guest: guest (786 days ago)

That's definitely a dolphin.

Guest (788 days ago)

You'd just brick it, wouldn't you?

Guest: Chris (786 days ago)

"Brick it" means to shit yourself in British English, You know the English with correct grammar etc. Idiot

Guest: Yeti (781 days ago)

I'm pretty sure it's a cetacean (dolphin), while the tail is unlear one thing for certain is that sharks have two dorsal fins, and this has one.

Guest: anon (786 days ago)

It is not a dolphin, look at its tail. dolphins tails are horizontal, shark's are vertical.

if thats a dolfin thats defenitily arnaldo swarzerdolfin, his huge at list 2 times bigger than a normal one. but its more likely to be a dolfin than a shark

Guest: BananaBat (772 days ago)

if you saw something that big, would you take the time to sit there and work out whether its a dolphin or a shark? i know what i'd do, SWIM!!
