Anthony Hall: The plane does indeed exist, however this video is 'fake', that is, its CGI. You can do a simple search and find the original post of this video that credits it as CGI. It's only on sites like this where the f*ckwit posters like to embellish their contributions with 'facts' to make people think what they're posting is true. Those of you on this site who consistently label things you have no knowledge of as "real" are ignorant, naiive bunch of c*nts.

saw a documentry about this plane and others who were to replace the harrier about 7 or 8 years ago.there were about 5 different jets that used variouse ways to achieve virtical take off and landing but the harrier jumpjet still beat 3 of them...shows how advanced it was and still is.

One more time for those that missed it THIS PLANE IS ENTERING THE ROYAL AIR FORCE That's royal, as in monarchy, as in queen, as in great britain. Its not a harrier rip-off it's a harrier replacement.

@Jeff: The day I will cry tears of joy is, when all EU countries have left the Nato and form a european defense force. Do you really think europeans cant see that the US is trying to divide europe whenever they can to stop us from taking your place in the world?

Harrier Rip off it may be, but that's like saying the Nimitz class carriers are rip off's of Noah's Ark. This jet is WAY superior to the harrer, It's supersonic for a start. Did you see how quickly and smoothly the gear retracts... sweet... I want one for christmas...

Guest: lol (405 days ago)

lol, thats a Harriet rip-off american style

It was originally called the Joint Strike Fighter (a US and UK co-production) and there are now three versions in production under the F-35 banner, Army, Navy and Air Force. Those of you on this site who consistently label things you have no knowledge of as "fake" are ignorant, naiive bunch of c*nts. Good day.

Hmmm... looked real to me.

Engineering 101 says..."It s not intended to decieve. " Yes it is, the description says "Graham Tomlinson, former RAF Harrier pilot tests the short takeoff and vertical landing (STOVL) capabilities of the fighter jet" Clearly this is not the case.

Why would terrorists buy off the russians?? they have a plenty good enough relationship with the americans and british!

Guest: jeff (405 days ago)

to guest jack.. If you ever are unlucky enough to need the US forces flying over your land, you will get down on your knees and shed tears of joy when you see a NATO "killing machine" protecting your sorry ass rather than some MiG-29 auctioned off to a terrorist state flying around up there.

This is a reality guys, granetd this is animation, but check out youtube you should be able to find the actual footage. For the record the british are getting these as well, because the yanks couldn't do it without our technology. The STOVL version has flown, and is entering service, welcome to the future.

At least the US are still number one when it comes to killing machines! To bad they can build efficient cars.

Guest: Engineering 101 (405 days ago)

... or as we'd call it, "an animation" It s not intended to decieve. Youtube "F-35B" and you'll find the real thing

Guest (405 days ago)

Yep, definite animation
