It's been happaning hear for decades just not so high tech. And I'm glad, who cares is someone looks through my emails, I've done planety of naughty things and written about them no one arrested me.

Yeah, but touching yourself whilst looking at a picture of Barbara Bush is peanuts to the 'naughty' things terrorists get up to. Pesky terrorists! But you're right - surveillance of private information has been going on for a while. I thought the article would be about spyware creators. They Do do all that.

That's a bit nieve - GCHQ in England picks up and stores verbal and electronic conversation according to any key phrases or set of phrases used in combination that could indicate terrorist activities. Also, profiles are built about people who may seem suspicious. This happens everywhere.
