Registration / membership
Membership is free.
You need to supply a username, a password and a genuine email
address.
When you register, you will be taken to a page called 'My
Profile Picture'.
Here, you upload your own picture or choose one of the default
pictures.
Then, click Save changes and you will be taken to a page called
'Edit my profile'.
Here, you have the option to fill in some more information
about yourself, and also choose your settings.
If you have any problems registering, please contact
us.
You can make your site private or just viewable by friends
- go to Privacy in 'Edit my profile'.
Collections
Collections allow you to group together related uploads. For
example, if you have many uploads about dogs, then you might
create a collection called Dogs. Or if you have uploaded your
own work, then you might create a collection called My Work.
To create a new Collection, click
here.
Comments
You can post comments on posts and uploads and on members'
sites.
All you comments can be seen in one place - go to 'Comments'
in your site menu.
Please note: HTML code and scripts cannot be sent in comments.
Friends
Join the Bore Me community. Be friends with other members.
Exchange messages. Share your humour and your thoughts.
To be someone's friend, go to their site and click on 'Be
friends'.
That member will receive an email with a request to be your
friend. They will then have the choice to accept or decline
your request.
To view the status of your requests and who is requesting
to be your friend, check the 'Manage my friends' area in 'Edit
my profile'.
Messages
You can send messages directly to members who are your 'friends'.
Use this to invite them to look at new additions to your site.
To send or read messages, go to Messages
on your site.
Please note: HTML code and scripts cannot be sent in messages.
Blocking members
If you block a member
- that member will no longer be able to comment on your own uploads and on your site forum
- that member's comments will be deleted from your own uploads and your site forum
You can do this by clicking Spam or offensive under one of the comments left by that member (only possible on your own uploads and your site forum)
If you want to unblock a member, that member will be able to comment on your own uploads and on your site forum. But any deleted comments will not be restored.
Removing / deleting your site
To remove your site, log in and click on 'Remove my account'
at the bottom of your home page.

You must own the copyright, or have permission from the owner
to upload any content to your site.
