David Blaine balanced on a 100-foot pillar only 22 inches in diameter without the benefit of any safety net or airbag for 35 hours in mid-town Manhattan's Bryant Park.

He ended by plunging to street level with only cardboard boxes to break his fall. He called this stunt 'Vertigo'.
