Ain't it amazing? Whether or not a majority voted for Bush in 2000, there were still at least 45% of people voting for him - man, even 20% would be way too much... alas, if you can choose only 1 out of 2 candidates, there's very few chances for getting a better choice! Some funny (and kind of sad) shit. Especially the US public opinion thing. The one everyone keeps referring to as 'the blonde woman' is named Ann Coulter. She is an absolute lunatic (much like the rest of the Republicans). And with all due respect, I think some of those commenting are being a little harsh and perhaps need to lighten up a little. Not all Americans have the intellectual fortitude of a tube of toothpaste. I am sure that people do not mean to suggest that Britian and Canada are void of idiocy. Wow. How dumb can you get! Saying you want to bomb a country then not even knowing where it is! I shouldn't be that surprised though! I have first hand experience of how dumb some Americans can be! I'm English and was asked what we do to celebrate Independence Day! The person who asked me was 24 years old and didn't even know what Independence Day really meant! Also when asked by a different American where I was from when I replied England they said oh New England, yeah I recognize the accent now!! In the video of the blonde chick dissing on Canadians and the French, she is just an idiot! Didn't she do history lessons at school? The French were the American's allies in their war for independence! They helped liberate them! Hasn't she ever heard of The Treaty of Paris? With regards to her saying they should just take Canada, that is too funny. The US did try to take Canada many years ago but they were sent packing. Saying that America protects Canada is also so dumb! I think Canada would like to be kept as separate from the US as possible! There wouldn't be any threat to North America if it wasn't for America! Americans even admit to putting Canadian flags on their bags when travelling so they will be treated better as the world opinion on Americans isn't a good one. The dude who says that all Canadians are dog sledders is an even bigger moron! I would be embarrassed to know him or be related to him! I have been to the US a couple of times and it's not really that impressive. I now live in Canada with my Canadian girlfriend and have done for 7 months! I would pick Canada over America anyday! I love this selection. It is a nice summary of some of the reasons that my country is destroying itself and everything else it can get its hands on. Our education system is in tatters, so you end up with people who suggest bombing places they can't even locate on a map. These are the same people who remain remarkably unconcerned as all pretenses of civil liberties are being thrown out the window. The "Make Your Own Bush Speech" game was fabulous. Every time I hear that man speak, I cringe with embarrassment. If you hear clips of him speaking before he became president, he is much more lucid and doesn't sound like such a bumbling idiot. It is quite creepy. His affected incoherence is part of a larger scheme to dumb down political discourse and it seems to be working. I didn't vote for him, nor did the majority of Americans in 2000. With flagrant disregard for the law, the Supreme Court appointed him. The last election was rife with fraud allegations as well. So all that is presented in these virals is terrifying and true. But it isn't the whole picture. There are hundreds of millions of people here that are just as disgusted as I am.
