This is why you should never lie to your kids (or anyone else for that matter) about anything. How can you expect your kids to trust you if you tell them such a lie?

I found out about Santa in grade six. My mom had to tell me about it. I cried for at least thirty minutes, then in a sudden angry rage yelled at my mom: "WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO TELL ME NEXT, THE TOOTH FAIRY ISN'T REAL EITHER!" I was serious. That was the worst day of my childhood, but it makes a funny story.
