I am in the UK and I can assure you that George W Bush is doing the Americans no favours abroad. Whether George Bush is inarticulate or an idiot is irrelevant. How can an inarticulate man command respect and communicate his policies especially in an era where communication is such a powerful resource. By re-electing George Bush the American people are guilty of self harm. The American voice we hear most abroad is your president and it is human nature to tar all with the same brush.

We should not be asking who is right, but what is right. We have more important things to do than determine the President's IQ. Why not argue over abortion laws? (Why is this entire board filled with idiot comments? Surely not every comment submitted has been a slam on Bush?! This is crazy! G.W. Bush. A name that will stay in history. The question is: Is he going to stay there as an American president or as an inarticulate retard? Yet considering all of his public appereances I would say it's most likely the second... The guy is a COMPLETELY hopeless cause, a mockery to sentient beings and so on, and so on... Yet what troubles me is why do Americans elect him again and again? Either because they are as completely lost as he is or they are somehow amused at having an idiot in the White House. He is not an idiot but he is certainly the only president we have had that is illiterate. I don't care if he says he reads Shakespeare - he doesn't seem able to learn. That, and the fact he thinks he is never wrong, makes for a very dangerous combination. We are in big trouble in this country.
