Legalgirl nailed it some 95 days ago: this is Roy D. Mercer, a man who does prank call gags for radio stations. Listen to one of his calls and you will know it too. I have heard him do a lot of things out of Tulsa. Ellen laughs so loud because she has never been exposed to true comedy before. It's insulting that she plays it straight, thinking we'll buy it.

I really enjoyed your clip with Gladys, she is a hoot and by your fan base she apparently was a hit and now has her own fan base. I agree with everyone else in that you should bring the ELLEN show to Gladys since she can't come to the ELLEN show. What a fresh of breath air she is. I hope you are able to get all these comments to her, so she knows that she has made people's days. Definatly keep in touch with her.
