Voice of the tube silenced

Emma Clarke is the polite voice of "Mind the gap" on London Underground.

She recorded a series of spoof Tube messages before being sacked for criticising the system.

She claims she was misquoted and was simply saying that it would be dreadful to have to go on the tube and listen to herself. I'm not sure either that the spoof announcements on her website were a "response" to LU saying they wouldn't use her any more: I think they came first.
