my ma has 3 types of cancer they gave her 5 ys to live 6 yrs ago she"s still living her life.moral is never give up!

The fact he's still alive means nothing. Except it's a testament to the exact "never-give-up" ethos he talked about.

You can actually see the whole lecture, type in Randy Paush last lecture But yeah, the whole thing kinda changed my view on life that little bit. ^^

I WAS DEEPLY TOUCHED BY HIS WORDS. I WOULD LOVE TO SEE THIS WHOLE LECTURE TOO. I WILL ALWAYS TELL PEOPLE OF THIS VIDEO AND SMILE AT HIS COURAGE.

Guest: Alex (669 days ago)

Type it into google, there should be a 1 hour something video on there with the whole lecture *

Is there anywhere you can see the full lecture. He gave such an amazing lecture from the looks of it, it seems that it must be watched in its entirety.

what a man :)

Someone comments that he still had much to offer the world and it's a sad loss, but really he wouldn't have reached so many in any other manner. His contributions have only been able to grow upon his passing.

great words....a pity we cannot see the entire lecture! like many things american it is clipped-short, edited and narrated over instead of letting us enjoy the whole piece, if we choose.

Well.. the guy is still alive.. dont cry..

Guest: Paul (644 days ago)

What a complete swizz. I just googled him and he's still alive. The charlatan. And yes, i am being facetious, but my 'joke' is on me. Brave bloke.

What a Human Being. Great Guy. My Dad died from pancreatic cancer nearly 3 years ago. What a great bloody outlook to have on life

Guest: mark walker (521 days ago)

err, please can u just post the lecture, and not a edited narrated version....if it was my last lecture i sure wouldn't want this version being released.. :p

this really reminds me of mitch albom's "tuesdays with morrie." perhaps that is why i'm a bit biased watching this--it's as if he's taken the idea from the book (which he hasn't, i'm sure), so i can't help but feel a bit apathetic

Professor Pausch should be an inspiration to us all, especially his last 30 seconds of his speech. You really have to wonder why such a young very intelligent person has to be taken from us,with still so many years of good still to contribute to Society. However they do say "THAT ONLY THE GOOD DIE YOUNG" & viewing this 4 minute video brings that saying home.I'm sure this 47 year old Professor still had so much to give the world. Then one has to wonder why criminals (scum) live to a good age. I feel for Mrs Pausch & their children. Thanks for the opportunity to comment on one of this worlds "Gentleman".
