you have a point to some degree. However don't forget that the rounds of ammo have driving bands. This is where the round is almost as large as the calibre of the weapon but not quite. The hot gases that are released when the cartridge fires are what drives the round out of the chamber/barrel.The round has to be smaller otherwise the chamber would explode as the hot gases expand. The spiral groove that is scored in the barrel is called rifling and it causes the round to spin very fast thus eliminating contact with the barrel and greatly improving accuracy. I hope you don't think I'm teaching you to suck eggs as that is not my intention.

This is a personal decision, but women age faster than men, and most men date girls 1, maybe 2 years younger than them while in college. A common approach seems to be, step 1: graduate. Step 2: marry college sweet heart. Step 3: 20 years later, divorce for a younger, more virile spouse model. Shouldn't you just mess around for 20 more years and then find your wife? Seems like a better financial decision. Or am I just way too shallow?

Okay, this is a happy moment. I fixed the washing machine. I tried this a few weeks back and nothing worked right then (got it working though), but today the thing just fell apart again. I popped open the front cover, the motor was (this time) easy to remove, I super-glued the bottom pulley back together, and it was running again in 30 minutes. The squeak and rattle are gone. And it looks like this time they'll stay gone! What's your recent victory?

Royston, I think that maverickrazor is trying to say that he is quite clever and not a sad balding loser who got his Mum to pay for a trip to an exotic beach once and is now hoping for cyberfame for his learned wit.
