The amount of oil consumed mobilising the US military is of course not a considered factor when spewing documentary after documentary about how bad the Iraq war is. We've never had this amount of coverage for previous wars, there are seemingly endless television crews attached to many squads and an agenda driven press feeding off the moral and emotional link it creates with readership. Bad news = $$$ Iraq = Oil? Maybe a once in a lifetime democratic Iraqi government complete with it's own regulated oil rights sums that up.
