IN response to everyone, yes the ship is designed to sink to a certain extent. The main cargo bay sinks to go underneath whatever it is carrying. However as has been pointed out it did go a bit too far on one occasion and properly sank.

In response to Marverickravor; this abstract taken from Wikipedia. On December 6, 2006, its sister ship Mighty Servant 3 sank in 62 meters of water near the port of Luanda, Angola, while offloading the drilling platform Aleutian Key. There were no casualties and the ship will be returned to service by the end of 2008
