Well see heres the thing. The tornado passed in front of the trees you pointed out. I would like to see you go out there like that and get that friggin close to a tornado. Despite its EF rating. Furthermore, one should note that they emphasize the point that this tornado is not just a tornado, it is the miracle of a massive system in place fueled by forces which are stronger than what we can produce. So yes, it is something to be emphasized as a big deal. Keep in mind that while you may see it as common due to being desensitized by the media. but in reality we are seeing something that to this day defys thermodynamics.

Info: Storm chasers Reed Timmer and Joel Taylor shot this insane video of a violent tornado from within 50 yards! We had to back up at the last second, and my cell phone fell out on the road and was taken away by the tornado!
