This would never happen in London. Only around 5% of underground passengers seem to speak the same language nowadays....

All a skit, but point well taken. If it sounds too good to be true, it is because it is!!!!

Latest comment: "Short film? Its so short, I've had farts live longer than that film. "

That was actually very good! I learn french, but i still couldn't understand very much of that without the subtitles :), but i didnt guess that would happen at the end.

Why say that what makes the French laugh is seeing people humiliated? It's unfounded nonsense - aren't you forgetting the cheap jibes that make so much of British humour? As a Brit who's lived in France for the last 15 years I can honestly tell you the bulk of French comedy depends on self-depreciation and/or gently poking fun at stereotypes rather than trying to undermine individuals. Maybe you've just watched too much Clarkson - now there's a xenophobe if ever there was one.

I was cringing like a gypsy's dog when he told her it was just a sketch!

Oh well, at least she didn't end up like Monica Belluci in IREVERSIBLE.
