snow_queensnow_queen (872 days ago)

This looks amazingly well morphed! I wonder how long it took.

mswifMsWIF (847 days ago)

I thought this piece was extremely well done and I'd actually like to talk to the creator of the piece to find out if we can show it at one of our women in film events.

Hummm, I don't think someone is a "brainwashed sheep" when they point out that they would like to see the video be more inclusive of the women who have worked in cinema. I also noticed that there were not any women of color represented. Does that mean the video isn't good or that I didn't appreciate it for what it was? No. But it also doesn't mean I should have to surf the web to find other videos that are more representative of all of the diverse women who have worked in Hollywood.

I've seen this montage on lots of different sites and this version is slightly different. The idiots who keep whining about there not being any black actresses should google "film women morphed" and they will see that in alternate versions Angela Bassett, Halle Berry, and Dorothy Dandridge are included. Brainwashed sheep who start fights when someone dares present something differing from their own view!

As long as we are being politically correct, why are we limiting it to YOUNG women? How about Katherine Hepburn at 80? And come to think of it, isn't Ms. Hunt, the dwarf, beautiful in character? And why only WOMEN? Let's have some lovely men, and a transgender person or two. Come to think of it, this piece should be BANNED, at least in tolerant, NO PLACE FOR HATE, liberal communities.

ernestErnest (849 days ago)

You are a moron. Was this shot from your perspective? Did the maker of this forget to contact you for permission to make this wonderful piece? Where exactly in the rule book of the world does it state that someone has to include one of every specimen known to the universe? Folks like you are whiners and self righteous arrogant pricks who think they know what is best for everyone. Joe47 whines: "This should be called CAUCASIAN WOMEN IN FILM" Uuh nope! It is called "Women in Film". That is the title. Not "Women in film according to Joe47", Nor "All women ever in film", Nor "Only women in film that meet the pre-approved Multicultural criteria", Nor "Women in film to make everyone happy"... Get a life.

Where was the most sexy and beautiful Gina Lollobrigada??

drauggieDrAuggie (848 days ago)

I thought this was amazing!! You did a beautiful job of putting something together for your own enjoyment and sharing it with other people. Too bad people don't always appreciate it for what it is ... yours. You merely allowed us to view it and enjoy it along with you. And, I appreciate the opportunity. If someone makes a similar peice that happens to be all black women or all asian women or whatever, I will be equally impressed with the work they put into the project (if it is as good). And, I will be as equally appreciative of the opportunity they've given me to view their work.

This should be called CAUCASIAN WOMEN IN FILM. The closest it comes to showing women of color are the Hispanic Raquel Welch and Rita Hayworth and the reportedly part-Native American Angelina Jolie. Where are the black women? Where are, for instance, Lena Horne, Hattie McDaniel, Dorothy Dandridge, and Halle Berry, to name just a few? It's a disgraceful commentary on the anonymous filmmaker's ethnocentric notion of beauty to leave out black women and to concentrate so much on youngish white women of a certain glamorous look and a certain nationality. Where are the many older women who have graced films? Even beyond that, this is so heavily dominated by American women that it gives a highly skewed picture of "female portraits in cinema." I'd suggest a rewrite and reshoot.

Latest comment: "well said... but then what was the project idea? maybe the subject matter was not so much the question as the play with morphing... i would love to see it redone with a broader mix of cultures and then why not mix the gender too? "

Guest (657 days ago)

You did a work of love and were kind enough to share it with us. Thank you. Pat

I would like to figure out how to make a montage to represent a greater cross section of women in film. I was shocked that oscar winning Halle Berry was not included. Maddening isn't it?

Very good ! Excellent ! Beautiful! Pedro Arantes de Faria - Rio de Janeiro - Brazil

No Sara Montiel? Is there a place where faces of women in films live minus the face that stole the heart of a generation? Sara Montiel is and was the face of European Cinema. No one like her!

getalifegetalife (818 days ago)

Maybe this should only be shown on

juelzdipset23juelzdipset23 (823 days ago)

ernestErnest (849 days ago)

Thanks Catsmeow339. Yes many people have been brainwashed and it is frighting to see the robots in action. Multiculturalism has become the new "religion" and the fanatics are just as bad as any other religion. I too thoroughly enjoyed this piece of work. Thanks to whomever made it.

ladysingsthebluesladysingstheblues (867 days ago)

The morphing is amazing but I have to agree with Joe47, where are the women of colour? The women in film who made a difference as to how women of colour in both Canada and the U.S. are portrayed, the opportunities and possibilities that exist in the film industry. These women should be included with their caucasian sisters and stand for ALL women of every race and colour who have had their own part to play in how we see ourselves and others.

That was absolutly amazing ! Wonderful ! Thank you for brightening my day !

Why must a few try to make everything a race issue. Have we been so conditioned by the PC Police that we can't take the time to enjoy a beautiful piece of work without someone telling us that we should feel guilty and that the work should be redone? I refuse to be one of the lemnings that play follow the leader as all falls off the cliff. I totally enjoyed this.

Guest: natalie (350 days ago)

lovely. wish there were women represented from many ethnic backgrounds. i a few, mostly italian or spanish decent. some color variation would be nice-Indian, Native American, Asian, Russian, South American, Inuit, Greek, you get the point. Oh well.

Guest: Rubem DaSilva (733 days ago)

Wonderful work of art!!! Simply fabulous!!! Congratulations!!!! But... where in the name of all the goddess of the cinema is SARITA MONTIEL??? Sarita was, all by herself, more beautiful, photogenic and perfect than all of the gorgeous women featured in your work of art! Thank you!

marsMars (801 days ago)

Well, perhaps the nod should be re-named '80 years of Women in Cinema with absolutely no Women of Color' Dorothy Danridge,Pearl Bailey,Lena Horne,Eartha Kitt,Ruby Dee,Angela Bassett,oh and what's her face..ah yes Halle Barrie. But hey that's Ok, surely their talent doesn't count. Thanks for the what ever.

Guest: Debbie (289 days ago)

This is just fantastic - the editing work is nothing less than remarkable and amazing- I have never seen anything like this - perfect. Reading other comments it is true that there are and have been many 'ethnic' actresses that could have been included- but it does not take away from the excellent editing work done here.

Guest: kitty joon (726 days ago)

Please let me know if and how can I save this amazing work of art.
