Either, actually, depending on the context. Not to be reckoned with in the sense that a person should not deal with such a powerful force, or to be reckoned with in the sense that the ocean's force is something to consider/bear in mind. Cafeful who you cuss ...

those are some big waves. the storm obviously isnt that bad either if they are still able to fly the heli and take pictures. Imagine a real storm..

Guest: NH (543 days ago)

I feel REALLY REALLY bad for the guys who had to build these while that was going on ...

Guest: Guest (566 days ago)

It's amazing how much down draught a helicopter can produce.

Guest: Harold (612 days ago)

now where did i park my car again...?

Guest (612 days ago)

Yeah of course they are still manned, who changes the light bulb when it blows?

Guest: Zman (612 days ago)

Uhh, I think they were manned. At least before that storm. (Just kidding)

Guest: Jim (612 days ago)

Are these things still manned?

Guest: bert (612 days ago)

the idea of being in one of those makes me feel queesy

Guest: Pikey (606 days ago)

Lighthouses are rarely manned theese days. It's easy enouph to righ up automated systems with multiple bulbs, and easy enouph to have the systems linked to and controllable from a remote station.
