Actually Whoopsy, we can carry school kids, but there is a very strict vetting process before we can have access to such a horrible weapon. However, it's not something I would use against even my worst enemy.

Irishfella, the cops in your country don't carry schoolkids? Well they do everywhere else. Who knows when you're going to need a surly, spotty pre-teen with attitude?? Don't leave home without one!

i agree popcorn, considering the engine was still revving after and the cop was shouting at him to turn off the engine would suggest the man was confused and panicked..

LOLZ, the news story made it seem like it was a deliberate act to attack the cop, but I think the old dude, was just flustered and not in control.

71 years old? Should have euthanased the stupid old cnut. They shouldn't be allowed to drive after 60, they're useless. The cop should have burned him, then seen if he had any nice grand daughters.

He got off very very very easy. Last year I got fined 250 Euro for telling a cop what I thought of him. As it turned out, he was only trying to help me (I was a little tippsy at the time), so my embarrassment was far worse than the fine. We're quite lucky in Ireland, our cops don't even carry guns, let alone our school kids.
