That cop just needs to be shot. Yes, the guy shouldn't have been doing 100mphs; however, no need to let the dog die because of it. Obviously if it was consider a chase for a minute, there is more then one patrol car there. And for the person that said he got off, no he didn't they just didn't charge him with running from the police. That cop didn't have anything better to do. Hopefully he chokes to death.

The officer was right to stop them and cite them, but should have also shown a little humanity. Would it hurt them to follow the guy to the vet then read him off?

I was once pulled up by cops for speeding. I told them i had a poorly platypus in the car and they still wouldn't let me off. In fairness to the cop, i was extremely drunk at the time.

The cop could have handled it better.. i.e. followed him to the hospital and dealt with it there ... the cop was being a bit of a jerk, but he is right in what he's saying to the driver.

The cop was in the right - my wife was shunted by a car been driven madly by an idiot - luckily no serious injuries - reason - his wife had rung him at work and told him one of the cats had died!

"its just a dog you can get another one" i kindof hope (in al do respect) that one of his relatives gets into an accident and has to be rushed to the hospitol (without an abulance or anothing) and they would get puled over and the relative would get to the hospitol to late because of it.
