Towards the beginning I made out 'wo ai ni', which means 'I love you'. Think it might have been earthquake banter. Towards the end he said 'women zai Chengdu' which means 'we're in Chengdu'; Chengdu is the capital of sichuan, the province affected by the earthquake. That's all I got I'm afraid.

Whilst not underestimating the scale of this disaster, it is surprising how little footage of the earthquake there was??
