I have analysed this video and his speedo is in fact set to km/hour so his top speed is a pedestrian 108 mph.

I can only repeat that some young men feel a need to do this kind of thing and I'd rather they did it at an agreed time and place (ie Mad Sunday, IoM Mountain Circuit) so that I can stay out of the way.

I might be wrong but I think that was David Jeffries on a stock GSXR1000 a few years back. He was sadly killed while practicing for the 2003 TT. Less of the moronic....have you ever riden a sportsbike ?

Actually, being on the wrong side of the road is not completely legal, even here in the Isle of Man. Nor is 175mph: there's no speed limit over the Mountain Road but the cops'll do you for 175mph. Oh, and he's just ruined the debate about whether the iom *should* have a speed limit. Tit.

I should point out to anybody that didn't know that this is completely legal. Personally, I think there should be more of this kind of thing. Young men feel a need to take risks and if it's at a time and place that we all know about then the rest of us can stay at home safe & sound.
