actually, it would depend whether you are referring to 'The Simpsons' the tv programme (in which case it's 'has') or the characters 'the Simpsons' (Marge, Homer, Lisa, etc) in which case it would be 'have'.

I've seem the Simpsons attack the Democrats too, they're pretty balanced in their approach to who's in office.
