Adko- There's also a question around why the united states uses the imperial system, but uses different measures than the standard imperial system? ie, you can get an imperial gallon, and an american gallon! Confusing no?

Adko-Furthermore, Napoleon (who introduced the metric system) included a metric clock of 20 hour days to the system. But it never took. One can apply the same reason to why other parts of the metric system haven't been adopted across the world

Adko- It's not just the Uk that mixes the metric and imperial system, any country that uses a 24 hour day also mixes the systems because a 24 hour clock is an imperial system.

Adko - Everyone in the UK aged over 20 who is not involved in construction uses imperial because it makes more sense, all the others use metric because its what they get taught at school.
