The Superb Lyrebird mimics chainsaws and camera shutters along with music and DJ scratches heard on the radio! Footage from BBC worldwide David Attenborough Life of Birds mashed up by The Young Punx.

The original is here on BoreMe - just search Lyrebird. The original is genuine, but I love this version, especially the little drum n bass bit.

I have seen that before with David Attenborough narrating. Hunt it down on the tube. It is equally impressive knowing that it is real. It does do the chain saw too as well as camera shutters and car alarms.

This bird does genuinely mimic sounds that we make. I can't see why anyone would want to make it sound more impressive than it actually is!!!
