This is more what reds need to focus on, the side of marxism that looks after people and makes society economically fair, as opposed to class struggle violence and proletarian revolution. Current leftists have lost their way, we've forgotten all the things we originally stood for.

Nice one mate! Very eloquently put. I've shared this video with all my non-marxist mates and asked for comments. Thanks again!

The problem with capitalism, is its lack of regulation, and it's continued manipulation of politics. The checks and balances that existed to some extent in the past are being eroded year on year. Look at Enron, Haliburton and any number of corporations, but we all know at some level every single corporations is sticking somebody up the ass. Reading down, I agree with Claudius the problem is human, we are greedy, violent and destructive.

Just a thought! can anyone think of a marxist state (not your wishy washy socialist states by the way!) that operates in any real democratic way as (not very clearly) described here!! pretty sure that the current marxist poster boy (robert mugabe) makes such a strong argument in your favour! This guy is a muppet! GET OF YOUR HIGH HORSE! "in theory" blah blah! GET A JOB, and stop wasting your time, (and everyone else's) posting this rubbish!

2345: I meant in general. Cuba is one of the worlds poorest countries. Marx and I laugh at you for saying Holland and Sweden are socialist. Ever heard of Sony Ericsson, Volvo, Electrolux? At least not compared to DDR, Soviets, North Korea, Cuba. I like cheese.

you speak well, are self-confident, and you are making some of the most stupid statements i've heard in a long time. i could use about 3 typed pages to rebuke about 90% if not 99% of what you said. 90+% of what you say is just plain f ing stupid, you seriously need an education in economics. you obviously doesn't have any idea about any of the basic principles that explain why our economic system actually works. educate yourself before you make videos.

What rubbish. So those workers that were fired will end up in those competing factories? Cheap shoes means that their wages will now go further? Like buying shares in the factories thus boosting their income..oh is that sounds nice doesn't it? opps oh noes that is liberal capitalism...So a democratic way of deciding what is good to produce for a society. Erm, try using your wallet? If we all lived in a Marxist state or far left socialism, do you think we will have the internet the way it is? No.. because Capitalism was not there to demand higher speeds. Probably still stuck on 28k baud it any. Oh and P.S. I am a socialist, just not a deluded as this guy.

that statement is not quite true. Cuba is a communist state and there has been no blood shed since the cuba missile crisis. European countries like sweden, netherlands all have socialist systems as well as low unemployment, high life expectancy and i think there is an index which has rated people the happiest in those countries. Also some capitalist systems don't end in blood. There are different reasons to why a system fails or succeeds

Well, all socialist systems ended in blood sheds. Capitalism as well. Ever thought of that humans are the problem and not the system.
