Latest comment: "to the second commentor who called me an ass - shut up you silly c*nt. I was talking about irrational phobias in humans that could possibly be cured using this kind of science. "

If the cat was hungry, it wouldn't be an issue.

she would be more scared if cat was hungry...

what happened to the cats tail?

Hm, I think I may have an explanation... The mouse is on speed or some crap like that, and the cat is too stressed out to even think of looking at the mouse... Or perhaps it's trained. I think this is a very unprofessional way of showing the achievement, anyways, even if it is a breakthrough in genetic science. Which this is most likely not. As far as I know, you can achieve the same effect by removing a certain part of the brain, so it wouldn't have to do with genes at all.

Let's domesticate squirrels and chipmunks! They're ultra cute.

The cat says WTF?!?!

Guest (444 days ago)

did they genetically modify the cat into not wanting to rip its head off as well?! On a more serious note that is seriously amazing. It surely gives rise to the possibility of being able to cure all irrational phobias.

Now, if we could just create an elephant that isn't afraid of mice, all of our problems would be solved.

Fear of cats isn't irrational you ass, it's common to all rats. It's a pretty worthless bit of engineering except if you consider pet mice or rats
