This ad is so dumb, it's not clever or funny.. but pointless and doesn't even do anything for the product, unless they are trying to say Pepsi Max makes you gay.. and even then, it's about as subtle as cracking a walnut with a JCB.. I hope Pepsi got a refund from the Ad company.

Latest comment: "This ad shows being gay is not a problem anymore these days. Good ad. "

What a pointless crock.. Pepsi trying to pretend it's got gay credentials, but obviously trying to exploit the gay market and get gay men to move from Diet Pepsi to Pepsi Max. Would have been less homophobic and exploitative if the guys didn't express so much disgust in the final shot.. sorry Pepsi.. wide of the mark and downright offensive.

haha, very funny. Love it!

She's looking hot. I even laughed out loud!! for once

Guest: Chris in Toronto (417 days ago)

PEPSI Max gives you the gumption to be yourself. That's the idea.

Guest: Shaun (417 days ago)

I owuldn't say it's a look of "disgust" on the faces of his friends. More like total shock at a completely unexpected turn of events. Besides, I thought it was a damn funny commercial. We gays tend to be way too touchy over the slightest thing we perceive to be even remotely homophobic. We need to lighten up.

I don't get it. Does Pepsi Max make you gay?

Guest (426 days ago)

WHAT DA HELL I DONT LIKE DAT BITCH!!!!!!!

Guest: Guest (406 days ago)

I think there is far too much looking at the content of the ad, pepsi max (which is so much better than coke) is about doing things your own way, the as is clearly about living your life to the max (means different things to different people), and not about exploiting the gay market

Guest: Tom (360 days ago)

Turning homosexual is a well documented side effect of aspartame poisoning. I thought everyone knew that.

Guest: Ric (417 days ago)

Kat Deeley with dark roots showing? Never!

@Bob - See, to me, it's not about being 'too relaxed', and certainly not about apathy. It's about picking battles, and being able to laugh at ourselves sometimes. Yes, there are things worth fighting for (or in the case of Prop 8, against - but you can't really say it was a lax attitude that passed Prop 8; those involved on either side did all they could. It's just that the other side won. For now.) But I guess we'll agree to disagree.

Guest: Bob (417 days ago)

@ Shaun.. and you're generation are way to relaxed and apathetic.. sit back and be all cosy and complacent and see what happens... Prop 8.. that's what. Not to mention your generation has no idea what humour is .. try watching the Leonard Rossiter/Joan Collins Cinzano adverts on you tube.. they were funny AND intelligent..

I laughed so hard my sides started hurting, and I'm gay ok? Thee is nothing offensive about this ad. It's super funny. I'm from the U.S.A. and unfortunately a tv spot like this would almost never fly over here, The religious fanatics would be up in arms. I don't understand how this sells soda though, all a person can remember is the humor, not the product
