Latest comment: "Sorry PC614, given the choice between what Scott Ritter says is illegal (a UN inspector) and what you say is illegal, i know which one I shall take at face value. Iran is posturing, America is taking the bait, as it always does. I just hope the UK doesn't get involved this time. "

Alright then RobXP, may as well let Iran have nukes too. Problem solved. Or is it that the countries you mention don't produce their own weapons (except N+S Korea)? I'm from UK, don't do CNN here! They did find nuclear capabilities in Iraq, funnily enough in areas Hans Blix and his team were restricted from going. No active weapons though.

Quote: Iran is an unstable region, this is potentially dangerous. So is Isreal, Pakistan and the Korean Peninsula. But wait... They actually have nuclear capabilities. And it seems that diplomacy is just another excuse for Iran to buy time (in the eye's of the US). I'll take off my shoes. Turn on CNN.

Did anybody find those weapons of mass destruction in Iraq yet? We've been there 5 years. I remember Colin Powell had photos of them and everything. Perhaps he just misplaced the pictures and that's why we never found WMD. Does he have pictures of nukes in Iran? Perhaps he has a nice cardboard model or even something he knocked together in SketchUp. Maybe we should nuke Iran, you know, just incase?

Their enrichment programme IS illegal. Therefore they won't obtain the materials needed via legitimate means. Iran is an unstable region, this is potentially dangerous. Taking our shoes off to the assumption that "oh, we don't think they can do it" isn't the way forward. Diplomacy and sanctions are.
