Guest: IID1E4's bitch (439 days ago)

Quite possibly true Captain, but jeff also doesn't have a pussy as his avatar. So what's your point?

Guest: andyfighter (179 days ago)

Latest comment: "This is not made up, I remember the story well. This was a true transaction "

Guest: Lewis Hamilton (439 days ago)

Brilliant stuff. Who'd have thought you could have fun with debt. This could change my life....

Guest (442 days ago)

canadians are nice people but they really can't spell properly.

glortmanglortman (445 days ago)

Um, actually Jeff, Canadians use dollars and spell cheque correctly. And the politeness seems pretty Canadian too.

Guest: Les (430 days ago)

If it were up to me, I'd have written the debt off for his bare faced cheek. Originality has to be commended too. I found this entertaining in a light hearted way. It caused a chuckle at least. However, some people need to "get a sense of humour." Who gives a shit about typo's anyway. Everybody could understand it!!!

captainamaranthCaptainAmaranth (445 days ago)

Presumably 'Jeff' has never heard of such a thing as a typo.

Guest: Matt N Charlie (445 days ago)

funniest thing on boreme for a long, long time! I would have paid $233 before the £ crashed.

Guest: Jeff's Defense (439 days ago)

Actually, there's more to Jeff's claim than originally meets the eye. Canadians write dates in one of two formats: mm/dd/yyyy or yyyy-mm-dd. Aussies use the hh:mm format for time. Who did I miss? Oh! Zimbabweans. Well, they don't have names like Gilles and Thorne. Which other English-speaking--dollar-denominated country did I miss? This email was probably written by a Brit emulating a Yanker.

Guest: alex (431 days ago)

haha the spider had just 7 legs

Guest (439 days ago)

At the risk of sounding too much like a generalization, Jeff is a twat.

Guest: Monk (445 days ago)

That is a master class in customer service. Well done Jane Giles whoever you are!

Guest: jeff (445 days ago)

stupid non-americans. they used dollar-sign and then spelled check the brit way. FAKE

Guest: Trevor (197 days ago)

ITS AUSTRALIAN, IDIOT!

Guest: loler (445 days ago)

liked it alot

Guest: Mr MaGoo (445 days ago)

Looks more like a old spud. Oh, and was the debt for a web purchase?

Guest: GUEST (420 days ago)

WAT A BLOODY NOOB!

Guest: Timbo (413 days ago)

This is sure to get me through the credit crunch..!

Guest (417 days ago)

I have empathy for Jane. She has to deal with the emails professionally even though it's clearly a p*taker and probably wants to tell him to f*off and not waste her time.

nickyjamesnickyjames (400 days ago)

that is so funny. ive seen this on other sites but never ead through it. so funny. now i understand why its number 1

Guest: Pete Star (441 days ago)

Apparently, the guy is Australian and sold his "drawing" on ebay for $10,000.....

Guest: flyte (445 days ago)

Bravo Jeff!! Comments like yours solidify the global stereotype of Americans as being ignorant. Well done and way to represent!

Guest: Jake (421 days ago)

Genius absoloute class ha!

Guest: jeff (445 days ago)

So...then I guess Canadians must not "realise" the difference between a lei (flower) and "in lieu of", nor can they spell definitely correctly, or that "thankyou" is two words. So, go ahead... stake a claim for Canada on this one. I won't be "travelling" there any time soon.

Guest (445 days ago)

stupid spiders

Guest: walkie (413 days ago)

obviously not real

Guest: Me (404 days ago)

This is brilliant. Right now I'm drawing my catepillar currency. It's New Years Eve I'll see how many drinks I can get with this joke. Upon reading I almost passed out from lack of oxygen. Seriously hilarious. I still cannot read it aloud without laughing hysterically. This really made my week!
