Dead albatross

According to the author, these corpses have not been moved, and nothing has been added to the birds, or altered in any way. What does it say about the way we treat our environment?

That's why birds can swim!

Guest: Brig (30 days ago)

I want to know the name of the crazy ass bast@rd who's going around shooting Albatrosses with a bottle cap gun!!!

Guest: Hoipoloi (31 days ago)

The foxes, wolves or whatever that eat the dead birds obviously don't make the same mistake.

Says it all, huh? Not just the US but worldwide. That said, why are the bits scattered all over? Wouldn't they be concentrated where the stomach was?

probably moved during decay or by scavangers. Imagine teh crazy fossils that are gonna be found 1,000,000 years from now...I wonder what will find them.

BIRDS CAN'T SMELL... di**head !

Guest (28 days ago)

They can if they don't wash.

Guest (24 days ago)

Yes they can, tw4tf4ce .. Kiwis, Albatrosses, Storm-Petrels, some species of Vulture and other carnivorous birds, Robins etc have better developed olfactory nerves than most other birds. Get an education, Mr.Cr3t1n !!

Latest comment: "as above, if a fish eats plastic floating in the sea and then a bird eats the fish the bird wouldn't know there was plastic inside the fish! "

It tells me that Albatrosses have impossibly large stomachs compared to the rest of their bodies... I'm surprised they can fly! ... oh I guess they couldn't

Unless the dead bird was kept perfectly preserved with security guards and wind protection there's no way it would all stay in perfect form like this in the open. That said, I'm sure there's quite a few that consume alot of rubbish.

PC614, I thought the Albatrosses were full of shite.... then I read *your* post.

pc614PC614 (24 days ago)

Sorry, why is it full of shite? It takes weeks to decompose, it won't stay exactly in the same place over this time in a natural occurrence
