What's a book?

What a little blighter he is. Left wing a bit slow to unfurl. Probably due to low hydraulic pressure.

Insect wings are soft and shapeless when the adults first emerge, but are immediately inflated with blood pressure through the veins before they harden.(Smelly,,I think you are the one who needs the education, try opening a book for the first time in your sad life)

Apparently, these guys are pretty nasty if you happen to be an aphid or whatever. They are like the great white of the beetle world (for their size), but obviously completely harmless to humans, however, believe it or not they do SOMETIMES bite you!! (When competing voraciously with their own kind for food, it doesnt hurt much, just a little nip, but it makes you jump because you don't expect it from a ladybird!!
