Richard Strauss's Thus Spake Zarathustra... honestly! Performed by The Portsmouth Sinfonia.

This one is from The Portsmouth Sinfonia - an orchestra whose sole entrace criteria was that you couldn't play an instrument

Latest comment: "Or you played an instrument you weren't familiar with. "

I think when Zarathustra spake, he sure didn't sound like that!

I think it is actally The Portsmouth Sinfonia - a real orchestra founded by a group of students at Portsmouth School of Art in Portsmouth, England, in 1970. The Sinfonia had an unusual entrance requirement. Players had to be either non-musicians, or if a musician, play an instrument that was entirely new to them. A search on You Tube will give you a selection of their work. It always makes me giggle
