Thank you God.  As old as I am and with a 30 year shelf life, that should mean I'll die before the end of time.

Jim Bakker has had a rough time as a pastor.  He owns about $200,000 in assets but about $6 million in debt.  He has seen better days.

On the other hand, God has been good to Bishop David Oyedepo who has a net worth of $150 million, Bishop T.D. Jakes $147 million, Chris Oyakhilome $50 million, Benny Hinn $42 million, and E.A. Adeboye at $39 million.  It pays to believe.

Jesus.  What is the minimum number of times a kid needs to be dunked in order to be considered baptised?  If it's 3, can you dunk his head three times and then dunk his feet 3 times or is it necessary to alternate?  Is this information stated in the Bible somewhere?

Hitchens is not a new atheist but he doesn't know what the Ten Commandments are.  He's not the only one as you can ask many theists and they all point to some written in Deuteronmy 5.

Different religious sects cannot agree on the numbering.  You have Septuagint, Philo, Samaritan Pentateuch, Jews, Augustine, Catholics, Lutherns, and Reformed Christians that number them different.

For example, the Jewish say the 10th commandment is "Ye shall erect these stones which I command thee upon Mount Gerizim" whereas some of the others think it's the one about coveting your neighbor's house, wive, servants, animals, etc.

Jews think the first commandment is "I am the Lord thy God" and the 2nd is "Thou shalt have no other gods before me."  But most of the others combine those two into the first commandment.

I love having this argument about the Ten Commandments.  The only place those commandments are written is in Exodus 34.  All the other places you see ten commandments, the headings were added by the translators and those are not the same as those which were written on the tablets of Moses.  No other place in the Bible does it refer to the "Ten Commandments."  If you think it does in Leviticus or Deuteronomy, read the orginal language and you will not see it referred to as the Ten Commandments.

Even in Exodus 20 where regular commands appear to be listed, it is those that God verbally spoke to the people from Mount Sinai.  Exodus 32 is when Moses comes back the first time with the first set of tablets and breaks them after seeing the people disobeyed the verbal word of God.  It does not say what was written on them.

Exodus 34:1 And the LORD said unto Moses, Hew thee two tables of stone like unto the first: and I will write upon these tables the words that were in the first tables, which thou brakest.

Exodus 34:17 Thou shalt make thee no molten gods.

Exodus 34:18 The feast of unleavened bread shalt thou keep. Seven days thou shalt eat unleavened bread, as I commanded thee, in the time of the month Abib: for in the month Abib thou camest out from Egypt.

Exodus  34:19 All that openeth the matrix is mine; and every firstling among thy cattle, whether ox or sheep, that is male .

Exodus 34:20 But the firstling of an ass thou shalt redeem with a lamb: and if thou redeem him not, then shalt thou break his neck. All the firstborn of thy sons thou shalt redeem. And none shall appear before me empty.

Exodus 34:21 Six days thou shalt work, but on the seventh day thou shalt rest: in earing time and in harvest thou shalt rest.

Exodus 34:22 And thou shalt observe the feast of weeks, of the firstfruits of wheat harvest, and the feast of ingathering at the year's end.

Exodus 34:23 Thrice in the year shall all your men children appear before the Lord GOD, the God of Israel.

Exodus 34:24 For I will cast out the nations before thee, and enlarge thy borders: neither shall any man desire thy land, when thou shalt go up to appear before the LORD thy God thrice in the year.

Exodus 34:25 Thou shalt not offer the blood of my sacrifice with leaven; neither shall the sacrifice of the feast of the passover be left unto the morning.

Exodus 34:26 The first of the firstfruits of thy land thou shalt bring unto the house of the LORD thy God. Thou shalt not seethe a kid in his mother's milk.

Exodus 34:27 And the LORD said unto Moses, Write thou these words: for after the tenor of these words I have made a covenant with thee and with Israel.

Exodus 34:28 And he was there with the LORD forty days and forty nights; he did neither eat bread, nor drink water. And he wrote upon the tables the words of the covenant, the ten commandments.

I disagree that everyone is born an atheist.  Go back as far as you can in history and every single civilization believed in a god.

Egyptians had Isis, Osiris, Ptah, Hathor, Atum, Set, Nephthys, and Horus.

India and China had Brahma.

The Mayans had over 250 different gods.

Good question and you can ask yourself a similar question.  How do you know if you're living in a matrix?

When God made the heavens and the earth, he made it with age.  For example, when Adam was created, he was already an adult, not an infant.  The trees were fully grown too.

He doesn't hide himself but he does want you to have faith in his existence.   He reveals himself to those that believe.  You cannot see him face to face but it's in the evidence that's all around you that shows his existence.

That's what you say but you offer absolutely no proof that there is no God.  Besides, people that don't believe God exists is in the minority so why should the vast majority of the people listen to a small group that doesn't believe?

God only knows the future for those people that believe in predestination.  Some religious people believe that God gave them free will and so even God doesn't know what they will do in the future.

When the kid asked about people that never had a chance to know Jesus, the Christian's answer ignored the John 3:16 scripture that says, "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. "  Christians interpret this as meaning that you must believe that Jesus is the son of God so those people that were still born or in remote villages of Africa, born into a Muslim religion, or born into the prison camps of North Korea will not have known him and will not be saved.

The evidence is there, you just don't see it.  Look around you and marvel at the beauty that is there and that only a supreme being could have created or at least started.

I take it you haven't seen the russian dashcam videos of people randomly crossing the streets without any concerns for traffic.  Also, there are many people that end up with medical issues like cancer and would prefer to pray than to seek medical help.

Mohammad is just a prophet.  Jesus is the Messiah in Islam and that is the same for Christianity too.

Technically, anyone can become a prophet.  All you have to do is claim that you have been contacted by God and you have been given the authority to speak for God.  That's all.

David Koresh is one of those individuals that claimed to be the final prophet.

Joseph Smith considered himself to be a prophet too.  Not just any, but as the only prophet allowed to issue commandments as Moses.

Herbert W. Armstrong was a prophet (end time Elijah) and even an apostle.

Jim Jones was a prophet of the People's Temple.

As you can see, you can have many prophets in the world.  Mohammed does not have a exclusive trademark or copyright on that.

He runs a business just like any other.  His business is receiving donations from the congregation that he gives speaches to.  The more convincing his speach is about donating as much money as possible, the more successful he will be.

Another way to make more money is to give more speaches to more people -- basically asking for more money.  A private jet can help earn more money.

A real christian church shouldn't be asking for money.  The Bible is very specific on tithing and when that money is supposed to be collected and it is only 3 days out of the year.  A second tithe is saved that allows for the people to attend the annual festivals.  Then, a third tithe is to be saved to help the poor.  You save that third one up every 3rd year.  That's a total of 23.333% you need to save on average every year.

But then the funny part is that these are the old testament laws.  Don't Christians believe that when Jesus died, he fulfilled all the old testament laws?  That being the case, why do people give to the church?  What new testament scripture is there that tells you to do that?

Same God, just goes by different names.  Now the name of the Son of God or the Messiah, that's a different story.  They all have different beliefs who that is.

Jews are still waiting for the Messiah.

Christians believe it is Messiah.

Islam teaches that Jesus is a prophet and a Messiah and will return along with Mahdi

Did you hear about his schedule on where he needed to be and no commercial flights could get him to those places in time.  Besides, if someone stands up in the middle of a flight and start claiming they are talking to God and hearing responses, I would prefer that they fly by themselves on their own jet.

Suppose the only people that should care about this are those that donated money to Kenneth or Jesse or their churches.  If you didn't, then it shouldn't be of any concern to you.
