So let me make sure I understand this. You spend years learning how to read and write just so you can loiter around the internet making disparageing comments about other peoples genuine contributions? About right?

Questionable how 'clean' the cars are after they've cleaned them given the speed they were going at.

"No your grandfather wasn't a fish"

He didn't say his grandfather was a fish. He said his ‘grandfather’ 185 million times removed. Perceptible difference.

And of course than there’s the matter of DNA evidence and the fossil record.

Hope that helps.

Oh and that's the first time I’ve ever seen someone sign themselves off as "Dumbass!".

Don't be so hard on yourself. There’s always the chance you’re not that dumb.

I'm afraid audience participation is almost mandatory in traditional Irish music sessions.

Birds are not reptiles yet there is a lot of evidence emerging that they evolved from dinosaurs who were reptiles.

So the reconnaissance unit of a hostile alien invasion show up tomorrow in advance of the main invasion.

We manage to capture one of them but they won't talk.

We know that if we use torture there's a pretty good chance we'll get the info that will allow us to fend off the invasion.

Do we torture them? Is it wrong or is it right? Is it right because they are not one of 'us' or because of the large number of 'our' lives at stake?

Personally I don't think torture is ever 'right' but I do think that sometimes it might be necessary.

This guy is obviously lying...he couldn't possibly have teenage kids or he'd know that the answer to the question after why are you a 1, 2 or whatever is almost certainly going to be 'I don't know" with a grumpy shrug of the shoulders.

Reasoning with a teenager?!!? HA, only in myth...

Ah France. Undoubtedly one of the great cultures of the world but living in the dark ages when it comes to modern work practices.

While the rest of the world has switched to unmanned, automatic lighthouses no doubt the French unions refuse to allow these relics of the 19th century to lose their jobs.
