OK let's sort his out: The music for "Comme d'habitude" which means "as usual" was written by Jacques Revaux the lyrics were written by Gilles Thibault. Later Paul Anka rewrote the lyrics specifically for Frank Sinatra. Many years later Sid Vicious did a good version and put in some of his own words because he was too smashed to remember the words. I might have made part of that last sentence up.

Latest comment:

Francis Albert Sinatra's signature song "My Way" is,as far as I am concerned, one of the saddest songs I have ever heard, this song makes me cry each and every time I hear it. I'm just a sentimental old fart who should know better
