... It was amazing to see how all the tunnel structures work and everything and how complex it is, but cruel to the ant's though to fill up it up with a load of cement considering they spend so much time on it

it's just amazing, i wonder how long the ants took to build that 8th wonder of the world and which ants are the worker and which are commanding. and i cant help to wonder if this just a "small one"

Don't make me laugh. It'll be late and cost 10 times more than they said it would. However as for the ants... I agree partially with Dr Oetker that it is a hollow victory for science but to truly understand something sometimes we must destroy it first. It’s not perfect but neither are we. Very impressive city which we could learn a lot from.

dude, there are approxomately 1,666,666 to every 1 human in the world. scientists believe that there are over 10 quadrillion ants in the world. heres what that number looks like. 10000000000000000. youre concerned about destroying 1 colony?

Half way thru this an AD pops up with the title ' Venom - nine ways to die'
I bet these bunch of clowns grabed an innocent passer by and injected with different poisons to see which worked first -- all in the name of science..

quite impressive to see, but at the end of the day they totally nakered it with tons of concrete: a bit of a hollow victory for science

If simple ants can build something like that, surely we can build the Olympics on time.

Truly one of the wonders of the world and we just filled it up with 10 tonnes of concrete. Disgusting. I saw the same style of ants explore by Attenborough years ago and they just stuck a camera dowm the holes and showed what was inside and how it worked. This is a poor attempt at science.

what a bunch of wankers for killing all the ants and for ruining their home. Hope they were bitten on their nuts
