Just so you know... the long socks are for the "Shin pads". Skateborading during the early 80's was mainly divided into 3 disciplines. Vert, Street and Freestyle. Rodney is and was the king of freestlye........... you should check out some of his "Darkslides" down handrails since "Freestyle" died in the early nineties and and everyone started skating "Street"......

Err.. that guy at the end of gleaming the cube was Rodney Mullen also. He is the "Tony Hawk" of freestyle skating and was around about the same time (also in the same team "Powell Peralta").

i still hav'nt seen anyone to rival rodney mullen....it's just amazing what he can do and no one can say otherwise.remember this was in 84 and he was just a teen. if anyone knows of a skater who can even come close to him in freestyle please let me know...also any good bmx freestyle, thanks.
