OK can I go out on a limb here and say that this is both disgusting AND hilareous? I mean it must have been awful for the guy at the time, but the fact that it's on the news means at least he's getting some retribution which I think gives us licence to have a bit of a giggle, and the most hilareous part is going to be when he sues their rotten arses.

I work in Tampa and I know the deputy. She messed up. Albert Prince is right there is another side, but still she should have checked with medical and a supervisor and never taken matters into her own hands like that. Did anyonebother to find out what he was arrested for?

The part that I think was the saddest is the fact that off all the people that were there, nobody jumped the cop for dumping the "paraplegic" on the floor. The guy is completely incapable of defending his self, esp when out of his chair. I say the cop doesn't like anyone handicapped- or has an ego prob. But I will admit, it was a little funny never the less. The cop should have asked for the handicapped guys proof, or found some other way to validate the story before assaulting.

(1890 days ago)i agree with drewadamson, watching it a 2nd time, her hand manoeuvres were as if she was emptying a wheelbarrow and if it was an accident and she was concerned, why didn't she show any remorse? she didn't even kneel down next to him, just kinda riffled through his shirt....thats feral...and as the for the older cop, what about leading by example??? hmmm bit of damage control needs to be done there. Don't know what the guy did but no one deserves that kinda treatment plus if it was a traffic violation, his license would have said disabled.....what didn't they believe it??? Bitches....

No way were those wheels locked, after she dumps him she pushes the wheelchair backwards away from him and it moves freely. There can be no excuse for this behaviour, even if the man is being verbally offensive all she has to do is walk away it's not as if he is in a position to follow. The cop she be sacked and sued.
