Absolutely amazing! The only thing that brought it down was the London 2012 bit, which really brought looked more like amatuer hour, and btw im british.

yeah what was the deal with all those amateur street dancers? didnt capture the feel of england one bit. they got the flavours all wrong. 'cept for the page, he was boss

For the person who said that 'considering everyone's paying for it' I think you'll find that londoners are actually paying more with an increase in council tax for london boroughs which is no doubt going to rise up until 2012. So i think some londoners would be a little peeved if it wasn't about them.

Aaaaaaarrrggghhhh!!! Why did you have to include Boris, the UK's national embarrassment?

well i reckon no one will beat that anyway for years to come. no one works like the chinese. tough to follow, yes. but we can do our own thing... i reckon we should have a sunday roast being chased by knives and forks running around the stadium in 2012. that would be a laugh. and yorkshire puddings doing circles in the corners.

Guys we dont have the budget to make it spectacular like china did. I liked our part, simply, quaint and with bumbling boris the stereotype was positive. Like faulty towers!

british bit was tacky, the commentators were all positive, but all it did was stereotype londoners and it was painful to watch. What anoys me most is how it was all about london not britain and considering everyone is paying for it, it anoyed me alot.

Our opening ceremony should be boris tap-dancing in a borat thong for twenty minutes. No music. THAT would be entertainment..

Latest comment: I dont mean to be a pessimist, but london wont top that. Im sorry. Beijing '08 is probably the most extravagant ceremony in the world, if we pull it off it'd be spectacular though.
