You'd hear it from inside the suit, and the camera probably did through radio communications I guess. Just a suggestion. Probably dubbed in though.

"The sand n the moon is far more like talcum powder than earth sand as it was formed in a very different way, what is the point of this video?!" Granted yes, but did you pay attention to the bit where they go on about using "moon dust simulant" which obviously isn't just sand!

Sound can't travel throuhg a vacuum, but it can travel through solids - it probably travelled through the connected tray of sand and the chamber walls rather than through the air as it would on earth...

Oh poor evil89, you miss the point. It was not a test to recreate that exact footprint, merely a test to prove that in a vacuum and with the sand like surface of the moon it is entirely possible to leave a lasting impression (i.e. a footprint) without the necessity for moisture. Which they did. Conclusively.

evil89: of course the photos from the moon look deeper, it had the full weight of a man in a space suit, not just a boot on a lever being pushed down by someone, its a lot less force. And guest: They spent a good minute explaining that they were using a material that simulates moon sand not normal sand. did you even watch this?

GUEST:"of course the photos from the moon look deeper, it had the full weight of a man in a space suit, not just a boot on a lever being pushed down by someone, its a lot less force" So that means that the test was not carried out correctly/ fairly and thus renders this test inconclusive
