One of the hosts says "try speaking in a foreign accent all day"... and she can't even string the whole sentence together in English!!! And they think that other woman sounds British? Bwahahaha, stupid Americans.

I don't know if I believe this! It's not just an accent - it's actually her words. She said 'year' (not years) in the manner of a person for which English is a second language.

I don't think those accents are foreign at all. And, I'm pretty sure brain damage makes learning other languages easier.

It's a form of aphagia. It may sound funny, but imagine you're from Bristol and wake up talking like a Georgia redneck. Not quite so entertaining.

With some brain damage, the muscles are affected, so you can't hold a spoon or maybe you walk differently. Speech is created by muscles. These folks aren't "trying" to sound like anything, but when we hear them, we think "Hey that sounds kind of British" or Russian or whatever. If you think its not true, go to PubMed, the largest scientific database in the world. Type in "foreign accent syndrome"

Latest comment: With some BoreMe members, the neurons are affected, so you can't hold a conversation or maybe you type differently. Thought is created by neurons which are not to be confused with morons as is often the case.
