Don't come to Europe and backpack. Go to Africa and backpack, got to Bolivia and backpack.
Jeez, we have hotels, we have shops and stuff, you know, where you can buy modern things and get modern services.
You come over here and live on $5 a day and then go home and tell the world you had to 'rough' it.
Rough it at home if need be, but spend some money on a holiday for ***** sake.
Or stay at home.

He can not possibly have read the bible. I struggle to believe any christian has read the bible. The reason for this, is that I have read it, and it's ******* hilarious. To believe a single word in the bible suggests you've read it selectively at best.
