It looks like a mixture of irish step dance, cossack, and....helicoptors

Guest: mehad (251 days ago)
this is actually a chechenian type of dance

Guest: luckyducky123 (522 days ago)
i am also an irish dancer... and this is far from irish dance.

Guest: sam (674 days ago)
this looks nothing like irish step dance

Guest: morgan (616 days ago)
this is pretty much the opposite of irish step dance. . .

Actually, looking at the turns in their feet, the quick twitchy movement of the ankles is very similar to Irish. Take it from a dancer.

I'm an Irish dancer, and this is extremely different. First and foremost we don't use our arms. Secondly in Irish our feet must always be crossed, they would never be turning out at the side of our body. Not that this takes away from the beauty of this video.

coming from someone who doesnt dance, (a true outsiders perspective) it DOES look like irish step dance. that was the first thought that came to mind. you can sit and examine the minute differences but that defeats the purpose. its like comparing dubstep to house, to someone who listens to both theyre extremely different but to everyone else in the world, electro music is electro music

I had no idea Georgians were so fit! I thought they were all fat, drove round in cars and spoke like Deputy Dawg. They are a shining example to the other 49 states

You really need to think outside of your American box sometimes... there is a world outside much older and richer in culture than the US.

Guest: Bob (1094 days ago)
What could possibly be older and riicher than people who talk like Deputy Dawg?

I believe the debate about this appearing to be irish dancing is actually a relation to tap dance. At first I thought these were tappers (being a former one myself) but within a few seconds it was apparent that they are not. I would love to know what style this would be considered... it's very old-fashioned broadway-esque! Wonderfully done.

Guest: Kitten Stomper (382 days ago)
Was anyone else impressed that no one got a foot stuck in any of the massive cracks in the floor?

Guest: Bryn (697 days ago)
