most retarded video i've ever seen. no substance, just a bunch of useless comments on metallurgy and woodwork. I still can't believe that people are buying the man made global warming theory and rushing out to buy new cars/bulbs/computers and anything else that has "green" painted on it. on a sunny day turn your head up and see a big yellow hot thing hanging in the sky, then go home and look at how earth weather patterns track sun activity

"well made points" - you have to be kidding me. using a long list of bad analogies is the worst kind of argument. trying to explain this to you is as useless as a plumber trying to fix my stereo, or a violinist trying to do genetic sequencing on a Homo sapien genome - i think you get my point. "You'e done that have you? No, I didn't think so" - you must be one of those stupid americans i keep hearing about. Why else would i make a comment like that if i didn't know it was correct.

I think the OP is confusing the video's message. It's not an argument for climate change and doesn't pretend to be, it's an argument against who we're told to listen to by the media and wood engineers jumping in on the action pretending to be experts when they're no more climatologists and have as much credibility in the field as an estate agent.

Latest comment: agreed, but lets not forget that the whole climate debate was started in the same way - politicians pretending to be experts. and i dare you to do a test - ask the average joe on the street if he thinks man made global warming is real, and once he says yes ask him why he thinks so, i'll be impressed if he comes up with anything more than algore. the fact is most people simply jump on this wagon without any justification or proof.

The press reports the "controversy," usually without mentioning that Cook Little is being paid by the tobacco industry. A relieved nation lights up - and so, over the next few decades, millions of them die. Now it is happening again with climate change. Lets hope that the price to pay wont be too great...

I think the debate of climate change has become a contest on who is right, how is wrong. The debate of it is being lost in the arguing. Using this fellows logic, what qualifications do Bono and Al Gore have to be poster children for the pro climate change side.

The maker of this video makes that point: Gore is not a scientist. However, he was used to "spread the word" as this is such a critical issue.

The year is 1954, and the "science" that has been exposed as a "sham" by conservatives is the link between smoking and lung cancer. The conservatives are championing professor Clarence Cook Little, who says he has discovered insurmountable flaws in the use of statistics and clinical data by "anti-tobacco" (and quasi-commie) scientists.

I've had numerous arguments with various conspiracy theorists on boreme, most posting as guests, all denying climate change as a scientific fact. Please watch this video and enlighten up.

It is just the point of view of an anal twat like yourself. Its about time you enlighten yourself and stop believing the bullshit from do gooder. It has no substance just some sad teacher type grasping at straws to make him feel he is convincing. He has no clue about the truth just like the rest of us including you dickface.

Forgot to add 234 to the guest comment before. The first part of my comment starts with The year is 1954 and the second part starts with The press reports the controversy. This comparison was taken from Johann Hari, Commentator for The Independent.

Really suggest reading this article if you are interested in the climate change debate: Johann Hari: Deniers - apologise for Climategate, in the Independent Newspaper.
