With respect, slicksps, this report is as balanced as it could be. Sue Lloyd Roberts report is superb and , I predict, will win many awards. The 'Great Leader' has been dead for many years and it's out of fear that the flowers are left. You are blinkered if you not understand the regime that controls the population of NK. They are a dangerous country, run by a paranoid government. It can't last forever. I think Chinese intervention will eventually overthrow the nutcases in charge.

I thought this was the most hilarious thing in the world, but then I realized that the reporter wasn't kidding. But then I laughed anyway - laughed at their utter poverty and devastating ignorance. RRRROOOOFFFLLLL

Actually, on reflection: I take it all back. NK is far more civilised and harmoneous than anywhere else. The reporter should have picked on the good she saw, not constantly trying to catch them out! The lifestyle they have wouldn't work anywhere else in the world now, but their people don't know how lucky they are. Live and let live I say.

What sort of heartless woman thinks it's odd to leave flowers for the dead? It happens all the time in the UK... I'm very disappointed in how one-sided this 'report' is. A lot of the points she made seemed to be her own and not based on any evidence shown in the clip. Would have liked to see a more balanced view.

I'm just saying... the stage was set for a very good debate and she just started picking at every little detail missing the larger, more important points. Forget the Euro flag on a flippin' tractor, what about the huge amounts of land, perfect but unused for farming? That would have been a better debate surely? What were the American's doing between North and South Korea? Butting in as usual?... so much missed out because she was too busy picking on people for respecting the dead... just odd is all.

"North Korea is soooooo 20th century..." smarmy Limey cow. I find it charming that the country is so wealthy and hospitable as to provide all tourists with complementary guides. And look at the streets: not a whore or piece of litter to be found. Looks like paradise to me! I can tell that all you westerners are just jealous of Communist Digest's top state to live in, 2009. Can't wait for tomorrow's match against Brazil, I predict a 4-0 victory for the People's Republic!

Huh, that's funny! I was taught that 'Orwell' wasn't really called Orwell and was in fact Eric Blair: government propaganda minister for NATO, who wrote his book to trick his people into believing that totalitarianism was bad and that democracy with all of its foibles was better. Funny that! It is telling that the People's Republic has to man its border: such are the numbers wishing to escape from Southern starvation into paradise.

A quick look from North Korean satellite images in the nighttime sky shows the truth: capitalists are forcing nighttime labour in order to harvest more crops; hence the lights remaining on while the Northern paradise sleeps. Not a single person in the Northern paradise is obese: this is because of the advanced nutritional diet mandated by the dear leader.

Part 2: 'The Markets! The Markets! yada yada yada,' 'so stocked with vegetables and local goods!' So sad this: a westerner so used to hideous abject poverty overwhelmed by the variety offered in Northern markets. She probably hasn't has a decent meal in years. Also, the reels shown at the start again show no obesity whatsoever: such are the advanced nutritional diet mandated by the dear leader. Hilarious that this western whore-bag mistook an advanced spam filter for something else.

It is clear that the minister was simply turning down the lights to show again the advanced nutritional diet mandated by dear leader: the carrots allow all northern paradise citizens to see, with the clarity of a great hawk, perfectly in the darkness. Also, the reel was deliberately mistranslated where the minister responded: 'yes, feel free to eat as much as you want instead of starvation is west; no we cannot grant you asylum from western oppression, though.'

All smart people know that this is sheer propaganda initiated by the bureau for propaganda of NATO: the western women pleaded constantly for asylum and was refused and so in a jealous rage hackneyed her footage to pretend it was the other way around, whereby the Northern paradise was not and the Western hideous poverty was the opposite. Such are the tactics of capitalist propaganda.
