So how far do you think a dragster will go before it runs out of gas? Or wears out its tyres, or blows its engine? This is the beginning of the end of the petrol engine - in 100 years we will think of gas cars like we think of steam trains now.

True, but i think the hydrogen engine is the one to replace petrol etc. I'ts quite possible electricity could be the next step but......I personally beleive they will try to convince us otherwise. Whatever makes more money means more power. In more ways than one.b

Looks like a cross between an old Citroen, some kind of sporty road car and Lady Penelope's pink Rolls Royce from Thunderbirds. Although it seems to get off the mark pretty quickly, we are not yet metric in the UK, so can we have the speeds in mph, please? Bloody European mumbo-jumbo.....

0-100km/h is aka 0-60. (This is why 60 mph is used to benchmark) 370kmh = 230mph/h Pretty fast overall, I drive a 2.5l V6 and can only do 0-100 in 7seconds. Doing it in 4 would probably melt your face.

Not really, most sports bikes, the Gsxr 1000 (2005) for example can do 0-60/0-100km in about 2.9. Four secounds is slow in bike terms.....before 'car only' enthusiasts get annoyed, i beleive the Ariel Atom (amazing car) can produce 2G's when cornering pretty much double the amount of any Ferrari etc and also match this sort of accelleration......obviou sly this is just a standard road bike, no turbo's/nitros etc.....also that's 2005.

I'm a bit suspicious about the 8 wheels. It probably needs them to carry the weight of all the batteries.
