That's clearly NOT Mars. It's Earth. On Mars there's NO blue sky, and the sun is not as bright.

I think the camera tripod shadow gives away the fact that this is an Earth-bound time lapse. If you look at shots from the Mars Rovers website the rover's camera head is hammerhead shaped and on a single pole...
