Alan Grayson explains why the rich want tax cuts for the rich

Pointing out the obvious is sometimes necessary when chatter becomes too loud. Democrat Alan Grayson does what he does so well and suggests a better idea to extending Bush's tax cuts for the rich.

Unfortunately Grayson is no longer a congressman having narrowly lost his seat in Florida.

We all pay all the taxes, it doesn't matter much to whom they are assigned, the economy is like a web. What is more important is to encourage people to do useful, valuable work as efficiently as possible, that is where wealth comes from.

Thank God this guy lost. He has no clue and that's exactly why he lost.

It would be more accurate to say those who do something useful, something other people would voluntarily support out of their own pockets, pay all the taxes. People who's work is subsidized or who do things no one wants done at the price or who's job is the result of monopoly power and of course those who don't work are the spongers. Most politicians for example.

Uh, Chris - their (and possibly your) issue with Mr. Grayson is that he really did have a clue and told some very pointed truths. That crew is just engaging in 'round-the-clock lobbying for their own pockets. I'd say they're not really interested in their country nor their fellow citizens - they're only interested in getting as much as they can now and to Hell with the future and their fellow countrymen.
