Seems like she was crying out for help. True suicide is a private matter that you preform without dialogue with others. Public displays like this one are the only way to get the mental help they need but can not afford. Now the state will step in and provide the help she probably asked for but was denied.

I think it's horrible in this day and age that people are clapping and cheering a man violently attack an innocent woman like that, doing nothing but enjoy the view from the top of her building. Sick!
